Commercial Chillers & Heat Pumps
Airwave HVAC Systems Australia supplies commercial air-cooled chillers and heat pumps for chilled-water and heating-hot-water applications. Equipment is selected around the required capacity, design ambient, water temperatures, staging, controls and project conditions, with local technical support from selection through commissioning.
R32 Modular Heat Pumps
A scalable 80, 130, 150, 180 and 200 kW modular family using full-DC inverter scroll technology. Up to seven modules can operate under one controller to match load and provide staged capacity.
EVI & Low-Ambient Performance
Enhanced Vapour Injection supports heating performance as outdoor temperature falls. Each selection is checked at the project’s actual ambient and entering and leaving water temperatures—not only nominal ratings.
EC Fans & Intelligent Control
EC condenser fans, inverter compressors, intelligent defrost and staged module control allow output to track building demand. Modbus communication is standard, with BACnet integration available where required.
Project Configuration Options
Available with or without an integrated VSD water pump, plus Nano-coated condenser coils, C5-M frame and panel finish, hail guards and project-specific hydronic and control arrangements.
Beyond the Modular Range
For duties beyond the 80–200 kW modular family, Airwave provides larger air-cooled scroll and screw chiller and heat-pump platforms. Equipment is configured around the required duty, ambient conditions, redundancy, acoustics, controls and site access.
Air-Cooled Scroll Chillers & Heat Pumps
Commercial scroll platforms are available across a broad capacity range, including large inverter heat-pump selections. Airwave’s current air-cooled scroll catalogue extends from 34 to 780 kW, subject to configuration and operating conditions.

Air-Cooled Screw Chillers
For larger chilled-water duties, air-cooled screw chillers are available from approximately 355 to 1,715 kW, with selections developed around project design temperatures, capacity staging and electrical requirements.

Performance at Design Conditions
Published nominal capacity is only the starting point. Airwave reviews performance at the project’s nominated summer and winter ambient conditions and water temperatures, including high-ambient derating where applicable.
Technical Documentation & Support
Project submissions can include equipment schedules, performance data, dimensional drawings, electrical information, controls details and available compliance documentation, coordinated directly with manufacturing.
